Prep with Jen is only the second tutoring service I have used to prepare for the SAT, but I can proudly say that this service is unlike any other. I took her small group SAT classes which only involved 3 other students. I assume this can vary but overall, the classes are fairly small. I highly recommend this type of class if you enjoy more of a one on one experience with some company. I am also proud to say that Jen has helped me boost my score 200 points. This is not an official bump, because I haven't taken the real SAT yet, but I am confident I can replicate it this fall. It is likely I can go to my dream college because of this. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak canceling most SATs, she even offered to have me come to 2 or 3 classes (with no extra cost) before the fall SAT to regain the knowledge I learned over her course. Overall, this course is extremely helpful for students looking to bump up their SAT scores.

SAT prep with Jen was a great experience for me to enhance my abilities, she was very comprising, understanding, clear, and knowledge. The class sizes were perfect, I never felt overwhelmed or at a place where I couldn’t speak and everyone was respectful of each other. Class times of 4 hours were a bit much for me sometimes, but was completely necessary considering the rigor of the SAT. The workload was respectable and let you improve on desired areas while moving along with the rest of the class. Overall was a perfect course in all aspects and highly recommend. -Anders

I had a wonderful experience as a student prepping for the SAT with Jen. I attended her classes and appreciated the opportunity that I gave me to learn from peers while also having every chance to ask questions personal to my struggles. I loved getting SAT Prep with Jen! She knew everything about all the tests and test-taking strategies, and my score on the SAT definitely improved because of her. I lived far away from her center, but she was super accommodating and we could video chat at whatever times were convenient for me. She’s really great with helping teach the SAT essay as well if you are interested in taking that, and my writing skills improved a lot in her class.

Jen is very patient and her small group SAT classes are a great environment. My score improved a lot after even just half of the course. She makes sure to stress the important concepts in both math and verbal sections so we understand what each question is really asking us to do. If we haven’t learned something in school she is always happy to do mini lessons.

she’s really adaptable and great! i have a very specific way of learning and she was able to adjust in order to teach me to her best ability. the environment is comfortable and jen is a very likeable person. i recommend her to anyone, whether you have a 1100 or a 1400.

Jen is a tutor who is extremely talented at her job. She is good at explaining both the math and english sections of the SAT, and raised my score by around 300 points.

My time in Jen's SAT prep course was fun and fruitful. Jen created a homey atmosphere with only a few students that I could really get to know. In addition, due to the small class size all of our individual weaknesses were attended to and Jen was always ready to work on the material in more detail. Most importantly, due to the effort put by Jen, my SAT score raised from a 1410 to a 1540! If you are looking for a prep course Prep with Jen is the way to go.

Jen was incredibly helpful in my one-on-one sessions with her when preparing me for the SAT. I feel that my score will greatly improve because of her. Her method of teaching is very effective and I am lucky to have had her as a tutor. Jen does an excellent job of preparing students for their upcoming exams. She was very attentive to each students needs and would tailor class work to each individual student. This allowed students to get the most out of each session. I improved my score by a hundred points and would highly recommend this course. Not only will you learn necessary information, you will also gain confidence in your testing ability.

Amazing experience! I loved having Jen as my tutor, and she helped me improve my SAT a lot. She has extremely helpful tips, and is one of the best tutors I've ever had. I've also worked with her husband, Simon, who helped me achieve my goal score on the US History Subject Test. The test was difficult, especially since I'm not a history person, but he made the content understandable! He loves history, so he makes the class more enjoyable. Thank you both! :)

Jen was a fantastic SAT tutor. I had tried group tutoring prior to meeting Jen, but the class failed to significantly boost my score. In contrast, Jen's sessions were specialized to target my weaknesses, and they proved critical to my success on the SAT. She provided new strategies to tackle tough problems, and is friendly and easy to approach with any questions. I definitely recommend Jen as your SAT tutor!

Jen's prep work was effective and productive. It did not consist of long hours and enormous amount of practice problems like many other programs. She organized and lectured on certain issues that most students might have during the review. The schedule was perfect for us, left most of the Sunday for homework. My daughter was able to make steady improvement each week and another 40 points during the last week to the test day. Without Jen's strategies, she would not have achieved her amazing score in such short period of time. Thank you Jen for your detailed work and encouragement, will enroll my younger daughter in due time!

If you are looking for an SAT tutor to help you feel more confident on test day and help increase your score, look no further. Jen is the tutor for you! Jen offers SAT prep classes, and one on one tutoring for the SAT. She also does math tutoring! I did 8 weeks of one on one tutoring for the SAT up to my test date. Within one week of her help I boosted my score 130 points! I consistently increased my score every week while going to tutoring with Jen! Jen is extremely knowledgeable about everything SAT and her curriculum works! It has made me more confident, more prepared, and not stressed to take the test! Having the one-on-one aspect really helped her target my weaknesses and strengthen them! She was able to enlighten me with the pro tips and tricks to master the test! I don't know what I would have done without Jen.

Jen is an experienced tutor on SAT. She has both group lessons and individual sessions. She is able to honestly recommend best approach for your kid. My kid did group lessons somewhere else and didn’t take in very well. After some hourly 1 on 1 sessions with Jen, my kid actually tells me that he learns something every session and starts enjoying reading those passages. In my case I think the individual session works a lot better than group session. Jen is certainly friendly and accurate to communicate with her students. I highly recommend Jen as a very capable SAT tutor.

I really enjoyed working with Jen. She was very accommodating of my schedule and very professional. I was able to get one-on-one help that really focused on improving my weaker areas. It wasn't just repetitive work, Jen helped me learn by looking at problems in new ways so that I could improve my writing skills in a short period of time. I had a great experience!

Jen was so incredibly helpful and helped me boost both my confidence and score for both the SAT and PSAT. She is so knowledgeable and was able to thoroughly explain every single question and comprehensively. Additionally, she taught some important strategies for approaching the test, boosting my confidence in my ability and skill. She plans each lesson tot fit each specific student, personalizing the lesson to improve the skills that the student is struggling on. She always so encouraging and motivational, using positive reinforcement to motivate her students. Before coming to her class, I was extremely unconfident in my skills, and had worked with numerous different tutors, yet still saw no improvement. But Jen instilled a sense of confidence in me, and with her, I saw major improvement in both my skills and scores. She was so understanding, and works so hard to establish a personal connection with her students and better understand them.

Jen is a really great and approachable teacher- she does a wonderful job of explaining harder-to-grasp concepts and I feel like her specifically tailored lessons were a really great use of my time this summer. Thanks to her, I'm feeling pretty good about this upcoming SAT!
